The Day Before

Posted: November 4, 2011 at 6:19 pm

It’s only Friday afternoon and I already have so much fun to share with y’all! I have a feeling this weekend is going to be nothing but excitement, fun, and smiles. So, let’s get to it – Fun Fact Friday: “The Day Before” edition.

I most definitely brought my nearly empty jar of White Chocolate Wonderful peanut butter with me to create Starbucks oats in a jar for breakfast.

IMGP2573-1

And the Skinny Peppermint Mocha is, in fact, fabulous.

IMGP2574-1

Caffeine doesn’t have any power over my ability to pass out in the car.

IMGP2567-1

And I have no shame in using the “I’m running a half marathon and need my rest” excuse with Peter.

I’m still afraid I forgot to pack something for my race.

If I didn’t have to wake-up super early tomorrow morning, I so would have signed up for one of the late night walking ghost tours through Savannah.

I love creepy ghost stories.

I once met Paula Dean.

But I didn’t even know who she was because I was young at the time.

Don’t forget. Daylight savings is this weekend.

The thought of gaining an extra hour of sleep after running 13.1 miles and getting to actually enjoy the sleep because children won’t rob it from me = priceless.

Although, it also means an extra hour of missing these two.

Yes, I miss them already.

I think I have a pretty rocking playlist.

Almost all of those songs are new downloads.

I often get Amazon gift cards. I use them all for two things – diapers and music.  #winning

Speaking of diapers and music, I’m still annoyed that Braedon refused to do his little dance to the Party Rock Anthem every time I pulled out the camera yesterday. How do they know?!

Last fact? I’m ready. Ohhhh am I ready!!! I will make sure to update from Facebook and Twitter shortly after with results and then you’ll get a full recap here soon enough. Wish me luck!!

  • Would you do a ghost tour?
  • What would you use an Amazon gift card for?

LOVE your playlist, especially LMFAO as the second to last song. That will def keep you going!! And you will TOTALLY enjoy that extra hour of sleep on Sunday. How perfectly fitting is that?! GOOD LUCK TOMORROW!! Can’t wait to hear how it goes!! KICK ASS!

  9. Rebecca says:

Instead of a Peppermint Mocha and perfect oatmeal for breakfast, I had a lame bowl of cereal. Instead of a race tomorrow, I’m going to be locked away studying. In other words, you are going to have an awesome weekend!! Enjoy every minute! 🙂

  10. I read this post at the perfect time–I was JUST thinking about how I’m in the mood to find some new music. Guess I’ll be checking out your playlist!
