Decisions Decisions

I have had quite a few difficult decisions present themselves to me in the past 24 hours. I assure you that it is all totally important and legit concerns. Like…

…what to possibly have for breakfast when you have no groceries because a certain someone (which couldn’t possibly be me) was too lazy to grocery shop last night.

You make due with limited options. I scrounged up a decent breakfast with an egg, sausage, & cheese english muffin to go with a Chobani yogurt sprinkled with Love Grown granola. And speaking of the granola…drumroll please while random number generator Peter picks his number…

#99 - Ally @ Sweet & Savory you’ve won the granola giveaway!!! Please email me your name and shipping address so I can get it to the fabulous folks at Love Grown.

Now, I really need to head to the store. But first, I need to make another decision.

Which delicious dessert to make for tomorrow?! Peter requested another batch of the Triple Layer Cookies & Cream Bars because he didn’t get any the last time I made them. Yet, I find myself dreaming of Cake Batter Blondies. See. I told you I have important things to concern myself with.

Yet another conundrum I must face today is the all too prevalent “What to wear?” battle. Peter & I actually get the chance to have a date night tonight thanks to my parents staying with us and visiting for Easter. I figure my husband may like to see me in something besides workout capris and a tank top. So what to choose?

black dress red dress

The understated black dress or the halter red dress (that is actually too big)? I need new clothes! Please forgive the fabulous self-timer pictures. And my about to hop in the shower attractiveness.

I’m off to go aid the government with my stellar decision making skills. Clearly, if I can solve these issues I can help figure out the solution to world peace. I have a busy day ahead and still need to get groceries and fit in my long run of the week. Oh, crap! Which to do first? I guess the world peace thing will have to wait.

  • Which would you choose between the two desserts and the two dresses?
  • Did you miss the FFF Features? I didn’t have time to add it in and want to know how many people look forward to it or just prefer a standard post on Saturdays?

  1. I’d go with what dear hubby wants and then I think I’d choose the red dress! It’s such a great color for you!

  2. Kirsten says:

    The chocolate brownies, hands down.

    The black dress.

I do really enjoy the FFF features. I have found a few other blogs that I really enjoy based on your suggestions & I love the kiddie cuteness.

  3. I like the black dress! You have the chest now to hold it up, I say go for that one! I hope you have a great weekend Tina…where is the sunshine? It really needs to get here already!

  4. Morgan says:

Black Dress with a cute necklace and the brownies!!!

  5. Kelly says:

The black dress with a cute chunky necklace!!!

    • Tina says:

I need to find a cute chunky necklace. I own no jewelry except for my wedding rings and a cross necklace. I wish I was kidding.

  6. I would choose the chocolate dessert and the black dress. 🙂 Have a wonderful date night and Easter!

  7. I choose the red dress…the color is great on you!

And I think the cake batter blondies because their full of spring colors.

  8. You look great in the black dress! All it needs is some jewelry and you’ll be stunning!

  9. ohh I def say the red dress and Jessica’s dessert 🙂

  10. Bethany says:

Dessert: I am a firm believer that an individual should NEVER have to choose between two desserts. Although I guess you can’t easily make half of one and half of the other…personally, chocolate always wins in my book, and those cookie and cream bars look like they’re to die for.

    Dress: Red, fo sho.

  11. I vote for the black dress. If the red doesn’t fit right, it might bug you. For dessert, I’d pick the cookie and cream bars. They look super! 🙂

  12. I like the red dress and the cake batter blondies since they both seem more “Easter” and “spring-like” to me.

  13. Lee says:

I say cookies and cream bars and red dress!

  14. Cookies and cream + red dress is my vote!

  15. I have to go with the black dress hands down! I also think the cookie & cream bars!

  16. Holly says:

You look like a bombshell in the red dress!

  17. Kathleen says:

I agree with some of the others, black dress and chunky necklace with a pop of color. Super cute, you look great in it! I’m no help on the dessert, I’d make both…LOL.

    • Tina says:

If we didn’t already have SO many desserts there I would have done both. Peter’s family is notorious for having way too many desserts. Not that I mind. LOL

  18. Red dress! Red dress! And cookies and cream bars. Have a great date night tina! 🙂

  19. Definitely black dress and cake batter blondies!

  20. Becca says:

Black dress! Hope date night is great! Glad you get to have time just the two of you! 🙂

Also, you can never go wrong with chocolate… Those cookies and cream bars look really good…

And I do kinda miss FFF Features, now you mention it… It’s nice to see what you’ve enjoyed throughout the week. 🙂

  21. Black dress for sure!!

Those cookies and cream bars — my husband saw them on a page on bodybuilding.com where all the guys were raving about them LOL — he is dying for me to make them.

    Have a great date night!!

  22. Hmmm tough decision… red dress!

  23. Go for the red hot mama!! You look gorgeous in both but the red one pops more

  24. I love the red dress! The halter look and that color look great on you…and it never hurt to show a little leg either! 😉

    Blondies all the way!

    Have a great date night!

  25. I’d go with the red dress. Just seems to show off your body more. Have fun and happy almost Easter!

  26. How Sweet dessert and red dress 🙂

    Have a blast!

  27. I vote for the red dress and the dessert you’re craving!

  28. Red and chocolate. 🙂

  29. Oh girl…go with the red! It looks amazing on you! HOT!! (the black looks great too though 🙂 )

And, is that a strawberry banana Chobani? What? Have’t seen those yet 😀

  30. I say black dress and the triple layer brownies…it’s a big win with both!

  31. Ana Maria says:

I’ve read that red draws men’s attention more than any other color – so that one might make your husband extra happy! 😉
And I would say chocolate > any other dessert. Perhaps, since it IS a holiday, you could make both??
    Have fun!!!

  32. Lesley says:

    I like the red dress!

  33. ashleigh says:

    LOVE the red dress!!

  34. I like the black dress, but they are both good! 🙂

  35. Lauren says:

Go for the triple layer brownies! I really like the FFF feature post on Saturday, so I did miss it a little!

  36. i LOVE both dresses…Men love red…it somehow makes them think “sexy” (at least thats what I read once somewhere) LOL but you look amazing in both of them!!

  37. Jan says:

You look amazing in them both, but my vote is for the black dress. Of course if your husband has a preference, I’d choose his preference first (you’re dressing for him anyways). 🙂 Have an awesome date night!

  38. Wellllll I think you know which treat I think you should make 😉 haha! But only because I’m not a huge fan of chocolate. Why don’t you make both?! CBB’s are super easy, so you’ll have the extra time to whip together the brownies 😀

  39. rachael says:

The red dress and triple chocolate cookie bars. Have a wonderful date night!!

  40. Ela says:

I enjoy the FFF features, but roll with what you’ve time for.

    Desserts: make both!

Dresses–you look gorgeous in both but I prefer the black–I have a thing for strapless dresses.
    Have a great date night!
    love
    Ela

  41. YOU LOOK GORGEOUS IS BOTH but I like the red one best. Chocolate ALWAYS wins in my book:) I hate it when we are low on groceries but your bfast looks amazing!

  42. Rebecca says:

    The red dress!

  43. Cake Batter Blondies and the Red Dress!

  44. Jolene says:

Both dresses are SO CUTE! You’ll have to tell us which you chose 🙂

  45. Amy Lauren says:

I’d go with the black dress. Well, I wouldn’t, because I could never wear strapless, haha. But I like that one better and it looks like your little girl does too :).

Both those desserts look awesome too!

    A.L.

  46. The black dress looks great but you need a big piece of jewelry or a light scarf or a belt.

The red dress looks amazing but needs some altering since it’s too big. Save it for the next date when you can have it tailored. 🙂
