Decisions Decisions

I have had quite a few difficult decisions present themselves to me in the past 24 hours. I assure you that it is all totally important and legit concerns. Like…

…what to possibly have for breakfast when you have no groceries because a certain someone (which couldn’t possibly be me) was too lazy to grocery shop last night.

You make due with limited options. I scrounged up a decent breakfast with an egg, sausage, & cheese english muffin to go with a Chobani yogurt sprinkled with Love Grown granola. And speaking of the granola…drumroll please while random number generator Peter picks his number…

#99 - Ally @ Sweet & Savory you’ve won the granola giveaway!!! Please email me your name and shipping address so I can get it to the fabulous folks at Love Grown.

Now, I really need to head to the store. But first, I need to make another decision.

Which delicious dessert to make for tomorrow?! Peter requested another batch of the Triple Layer Cookies & Cream Bars because he didn’t get any the last time I made them. Yet, I find myself dreaming of Cake Batter Blondies. See. I told you I have important things to concern myself with.

Yet another conundrum I must face today is the all too prevalent “What to wear?” battle. Peter & I actually get the chance to have a date night tonight thanks to my parents staying with us and visiting for Easter. I figure my husband may like to see me in something besides workout capris and a tank top. So what to choose?

black dress red dress

The understated black dress or the halter red dress (that is actually too big)? I need new clothes! Please forgive the fabulous self-timer pictures. And my about to hop in the shower attractiveness.

I’m off to go aid the government with my stellar decision making skills. Clearly, if I can solve these issues I can help figure out the solution to world peace. I have a busy day ahead and still need to get groceries and fit in my long run of the week. Oh, crap! Which to do first? I guess the world peace thing will have to wait.

  • Which would you choose between the two desserts and the two dresses?
  • Did you miss the FFF Features? I didn’t have time to add it in and want to know how many people look forward to it or just prefer a standard post on Saturdays?

Good Dinner

Breakfast for dinner! Is there any easier, more satisfying thing to cook for dinner? I think not. Well except maybe ice cream for dinner. 😉

Good Workout

Thanks to my back finally feeling normal again, I have fit in a couple of good workouts. I headed back to the gym this morning for a weights circuit and a spin class. I love doing circuits for my weights. They really provide a challenge but are quick too.

Assisted Pull-Ups 8 reps
Speed Skaters 15 reps
Underhand Barbell Row 10 reps
Burpees 10 reps
Dumbbell Hammer Curl 10 reps

Lookin’ Good

4all outfit

I received another outfit from 4all by jofit to try out and share with all of you. I wore the wide strappy tank from their New Orleans collection for my run yesterday. Pretty snazzy, huh? And super comfortable too.

Good TV

Last night we watched the season finale of Parenthood. That really is such a good show. If you don’t watch it, you should! It’s my second favorite, only coming after Glee.

Good Night’s Sleep

b and mommy

This cutie pie has certainly been a friend of mine lately. Looks like sleeping through the night for 12 hours is here to stay!

Good Friday

Good Firday4

Yes, I’m so thrilled it is Friday and we have a fun weekend ahead. More importantly? I’m thrilled to have a God who loves me SO incredibly much that He died for us to bring us back to Him on this day. Nothing can make for a better Friday than that. Such all encompassing love. So, please. Make today a good day – you have already received more than you could possibly hope for in today’s blessing. Happy Good Friday! And I hope all who celebrate have a wonderful Easter holiday. 🙂

  • What is good to you lately?

Where The Change Happens

It’s kind of funny. I become a certified personal trainer and the first workouts I turn to this week come from someone else. The book came in for me at the library last week and, after flipping through it, I couldn’t wait to give the circuits a go. Making The Cut includes a lot of […]
