They Really Mean It!

Posted: March 1, 2011 at 8:06 pm

I mentioned last week that I participated in a special webcast for the 4all by jofit fitness apparel company that I’m working with this year as a brand ambassador. I also mentioned how much I love the company.

4all webcast 2

The chat proved that to me even more. All of the women behind the scenes are so passionate about what the brand stands for. They want women to look and feel confident in their clothing, just as they should have confidence in their fitness abilities. They want clothes that you can comfortably wear without worrying about so many nagging issues in standard wear – the skin around the armpits, not having a smooth look in pants, shirts rising too high, pants hugging too tight, clothes not wicking moisture like they claim, etc. 4all really means what they say!

They recently sent me some of their apparel to try out. Along with some other goodies to use during my fitness journey this year.

I already use the little gym bag for all my workouts because it is the perfect size to carry around the gym. And the flip video (!!!) helps me film all of my FFF Features videos. As for the clothes?

4all wear

I. LOVE. THEM! I always comfortably worked out in standard deals and didn’t concern myself too much with details in my fitness gear. I’m changing my tune. There is SUCH a difference.

I received the following three pieces:

Thumbs Up Jacket

fitness - Thumbs Up Jacket - Black

Victoria JoWind Shirt

fitness - Victoria Jo-Wind Shirt - Applewood

Knit Capri

fitness - Knit Capri - Black

Here is why I love the clothes. They feel luxurious. The material is such high quality that I wore the above as an outfit while out and about running errands and felt more put together than in some of of my other regular wear. They look flattering. The scoop bottom and thicker panel waist band of the pants help made my tummy look flatter and kept me comfortable all at the same time. They also have pockets that give the butt a little perk. Not a bad thing if you ask me. They do their job. The material certainly wicks away moisture. I have worn the pants for two sweaty workouts already and don’t feel that gross lower back sweaty area like normal. You know what I’m talking about! In short, I wish I could own their entire line.

Stay tuned for promotions and other great info as the year goes on. And please note that while 4all did send me the above items free of charge for review, the opinions expressed are all my own. So, yes. I am in fact digging 4all this much. 😀

Question of the Evening – What do you find most important in your fitness clothing? Price, fit, look, certain materials?

  1. You’re stylin’ in those clothes- love the green shirt! 🙂

I think fit is most important… alongside keeping me cool or warm (whatever their intended purpose)

  2. Price and fit are my big demands. Other than that, I want them to breath.

  3. I am SUPER excited for you (and a little jealous!! LOL) and this amazing opportunity!! When looking for fitness gear I look at all of those things: price, fit, look and material. 🙂 Ultimately it has to LOOK good with its FIT and be the right PRICE for me to purchase it. 🙂

  4. What a fun opportunity!

Fit is a must for me! because I’m fun-sized. I love nice workout clothes because they motivate me to to get moving more so than old cotton knits. But I have found that the Champion Line at Target to be nice and affordable. I also pair Lulu crops with Old Navy tanks, which is my favorite workout outfit.

I took a look at the 4 All website and I think I make take up tennis just so I have an excuse to wear those adorable skirts!

    • Tina says:

I know. The tennis stuff is so cute. And I love the Target line too. I have a lot of their stuff as well.

I had a chuckle at you calling yourself fun-sized.

  5. Lauren says:

I pay for quality running gear like tops & shorts. I can find a lot of cheaper gear at TJ Maxx like yoga pants and moisture-wicking stuff, but it’s usually just as good! I really wanna get some Lululemon capris because I’ve heard their stuff is amazing!

  6. What great products – love that they included a flip camera for you to use and the clothes look great!

I like high quality clothes that breathe, and fit is SO important. If I don’t feel good, cute and comfortable in it – I won’t wear it so it has to meet that criteria!

  7. I’d say fit and function are MOST important for me. That’s while I will occasionally bite the bullet and pay for Smartwool or Lululemon because I believe in their products and how they work and also how great they look on. Those are all great options! Now days I won’t dare wearing a cotton shirt because I remember how sweaty and muggy I always felt in my cotton.

  8. Sweet! I need to get in some of those clothes asap…it’s all about the fit for this lady 🙂

  9. Wow it all looks so comfy, I’ll have to check out the thumbs up jacket! For me I’m willing to spend a little extra on items I can also wear when out and about…

  10. jobo says:

SO CUTE!! I LOVE workout clothes!! They get me extra excited to work out. I love workout clothes that just FIT well. That are flattering. Soemtimes I don’t even care if they are costly (hello Lulu!) because it is hard to find a good fit that is also flattering. And cute. Come on, cute has to be in there too 🙂

  11. lindsay says:

I really like that apparel. Its flattering and we all need that with workout clothes!
Great company , thanks for sharing!

  12. feener says:

price and look, i want a good product but i don’t want to pay an arm and a leg.

  13. Love those workout clothes! They are so flattering on you! I look for workout clothes that are comfortable but trendy at the same time!

  14. Fun loot!! Sounds like a great company 🙂

  15. Helen says:

Like the way those workout clothes are looking! I look for clothes that are comfortable but affordable as well.

  16. Those clothes DO look luxurious! Most of my shirts are from races and the rest cheap stuff from Target that’s nearly 5 years old now. =/ I have a couple of *nice* pieces that I got as gifts and rarely wear them because I’m so paranoid about ruining them.

  17. Karen says:

To me fit is most important in my fitness clothes, although price is a very close second. I really like my clothes to fit well – proper fitting clothes does wondrous things for my confidence!

  18. I want things to fit well and for the cost to be low everything else is a bonus. Right now I am looking for a good plus sized sports bra at a reasonable price, which seems to be nearly impossible. 😛

  19. The first thing I look at is price. I’m on a strict budget so I have to make wise choices. Then function is second. I need wicking because I am a sweat monster and the ability to use for multiple activities and wash well.

Cuteness doesn’t hurt either and that jacket has great lines.

  20. The most important thing to me is that the clothes are comfy. It will distract my energy from a workout if my clothes are too tight or too loose. They must be just right! 🙂

  21. Fit and function are definitely the most important to me! Yoga pants that fall down or running shorts that bunch are useless to me. Yes, price is important to me, but I would much rather invest in fewer pieces of clothing that are higher quality than have a lot of low quality fitness clothing that I don’t really like. Looks like you are really liking this line of clothing!

  22. Lee says:

Probably a combination of all of those things. I have a lot of workout clothes from Target that I really like.

  23. The most important thing is that they don’t bug me when working out. Especially important for running! No bunching, no chafing, gotta have a great fit, not too thick. I guess it boils down to comfort.

  24. Totally awesome post! I LOVE my 4all clothing too ~ I love how you showed the teleconference how cool 🙂

  25. jassy says:

is that a glass on your pics? 🙂

    • Tina says:

Yep. They sent a special celebratory glass. Which was knocked over by M approximately 2.2 seconds later. LOL

  26. Gina says:

Fit is so important to me! I have long legs so I hate when workout pants are too short and also I want them to look flattering in the butt area, haha!

Price is a close second too!

  27. Dorry says:

cute clothes! love the green. I am all about the way my clothes fit while I’m being active – I hate having to adjust my clothes while running or in yoga. of course, I’m partial to lululemon these days. 🙂

  28. Someday I will be able to afford awesome high-quality workout wear. For now, the Champion stuff from Target is my friend! 🙂

  29. Such a cute line! Is 4all available in stores, or is it exclusively sold online? I’d love to try on a few items to see how they fit!

Most of my workout clothes are from Target or Old Navy, however, I have a few more expensive pieces that I LOVE. Even though it sounds superficial, feeling good about your look while working out is important!

    • Tina says:

They have a store locator on their website. I think they mentioned being sold in Dicks sporting goods and places like that.

  30. Amanda says:

Those clothes look so comfy! I like the way my workout clothes feel, but I only splurge once a year at most. Most of my fitness clothes are from Marshall’s and I treasure my Nike and Under Armour gear.

  31. Heather says:

Ahhhh!!! I’m so excited for you – this is so great!!
The most important thing for me with workout shirts is finding ones that are LONG enough for my torso. I am too old to be showing off any belly…. 🙂

  32. Cate says:

    Very cool!
In my fitness clothing I look for comfort mostly. I don’t want something that needs constant adjusting so I try to jump & move around when trying the clothes on to make sure they fit well. Price is also pretty important. I have found some pretty good workout gear at TJMaxx and Target, but have splurged on a few lululemon pieces though.

  33. I really really want one of those darn thumb jackets for running. I have different standards for my gear depending on the workout. For running, I go with quality all the way. Makes a big difference – so I’ll spend more. For lifting and general aerobics, more about price and cuteness factor 😉

  34. Stacy says:

Very exciting! And the clothes are so cute! When I’m buying workout clothes the biggest factor is usually price and fabric. I don’t want to spend too much on workout gear but I also make sure items are made out of comfortable and flattering material.

  35. I LOVE the Flip! I won one on a giveaway (my first win ever) and love the thing!!!

Very exciting on the clothing. For my workout gear, it means a lot that the shirt fits (not riding up my belly sky high as I move) and that it actually wisks the moisture away.

  36. The clothing is so nice! For me, workout gear that fits properly is what’s most important to me 🙂

  37. Mellissa says:

I love really good workout clothes, but refuse to pay full price so anytime I see a good sale I grab a bunch. I did recently find a few Lucy items at Nordstrom Rack. I got a $60 tanktop for $11!

  38. I usually end up buying because of price, but oftentimes the cheap-o ones are the worst fit especially during long workouts. So I try to find a couple new pricier pieces every couple months based on breathability and fit.

  39. erin says:

Those knit capris are so cute. I got some too, but they ended up being a tad too big, so I guess my sis is going to enjoy them more. LOL!

  40. Fit definitely means the most to me. I need to get some more workout clothes, usually I am just in a big t shirt and shorts!
