Sorpresas!!!

Thats "surprises" in Spanish πŸ˜‰ I've had a few surprises this weekend. First off was finding this on my doorstep on Friday afternoon...

Brothers All Natural Fruit Crisps

Package of Apple Crisps

It's always great getting new goodies to try and I had absolutely no clue these were headed my way. I can't wait to give a proper review of them. But so far, me likey πŸ˜€ Thanks Brothers All Natural!

Yesterday, I was really in the mood to go see a movie. It wasn't nice outside but I needed to go do something. Enter movie theater. And candy corn. I adore having a small baggy of this stuff in the movies. It's a little indulgence of my mine πŸ˜€ Slowly savored....mmmm...

Anyways, we went and saw the new movie Remember Me.

It was a bit different than I expected, because I thought more would happen throughout the movie and there would be a stronger plot. One thing about it though...the ending was definitely a surprise! It was still a good film and had some moving parts in it, but I would say wait to rent it if you were considering seeing it. Unless of course you just want to get out of the house and the movies are your best option and there is nothing else you feel like seeing. Like moi. πŸ˜‰

Other surprises - it's already mid March and the baby shower that was months and months away with plenty of time to prepare is now 6 DAYS away. Oops! Me thinks there will be a busy week ahead of prep. 30+ guests over for a dinner couples shower = busy! Another more stressful surprise - being an hour behind this morning and still having to get out the door to make it to church to both teach Sunday School and also introduce your class to some newcomers of the church and convince them to visit your group. Whew!

And the last surprise of the day is for you. The answer to Fun Fact Friday = #2! A good many of you guessed correctly. Either you got lucky...or you have a good memory and remember me describing how I got hit by a car and ended up with a huge gash on my tush. #1 is true for my little bro though. He only has one kidney. And I have a butt scar. And my sister - well she has scars too...using glass tables as trampolines isn't a good idea πŸ˜‰

  • How was your weekend?
  • What was the last way you were surprised?
  • What is your favorite movie snack? I have no shame on enjoying some candy! πŸ˜€

Giveaways: Jen from EAT MOVE LOVE, Lily from LILY'S HEALTH PAD, and Allie from LIVE LAUGH EAT.

What a tasty surprise! I’m dehydrating some apple chips right now, can’t wait until they’re done.

I love munching on popcorn, but not the popcorn from the theater… too much butter and salt for my taste. I like free popped with a pinch of sea salt. YUM

  7. I wanted to see that movie, it looked pretty good!! I’ll have to rent it when it comes out.
YUM i loooove candy corn!! Have you tried the Hershey’s Kisses candy corn version? HOLY moly!

My weekend was ok, not bad but not great you know?
The last thing that suprised me? A co-worker who came up behind me at work and scared me… I think i must’ve jumped 10 feet in the air!!!
And my favorite movie snack is popcorn! Movie theater popcorn rocks.. i guess it’s all that butter, huh?

  8. My favorite movie theater snack is popcorn and peanut M&Ms with a diet soda. I never eat M&Ms unless it’s at the theater and don’t drink sodas either. Something about the movies though…

  9. Nelly says:

trader joes turkey jerky! the hubby and I both get a bag for the movies! You have to try it!

I wanted to know about that movie -thanks!! You are SO like me – I just want to get out of the house and see ANY movie usually…well, not any movie…but usually pick some silly rom-com…;)
I ate like 1/2 a BIG pack of licorice on my OWN last night – and I did not go to the movies…and I had way too much too eat beforehand – and it was right before bed…and it was simply out of boredom…and yah – I suck :(…
I also adore the chocolate raisinettes …

  14. I love popcorn when I watch movies.

  15. I love those fruit crisps! Asian Pear are the best! πŸ™‚ I have been wanting to see that movie, “Remember Me” since I saw advertisements for it when I saw “Dear John” in theatres! I mentioned in my post that I saw “The Crazies” this weekend, but that was only because we got there too late to see the one we really wanted! πŸ™‚

  16. i wanna see Remember Me so bad! I Loooooooooooooooove Robert Pattinson! πŸ™‚ I have an Edward Cullen pillow and a new moon poster πŸ˜‰ He looks so good in this movie though!! haha
