Good Dinner

bfast dinner

Breakfast for dinner! Is there any easier, more satisfying thing to cook for dinner? I think not. Well except maybe ice cream for dinner. 😉

Good Workout

Thanks to my back finally feeling normal again, I have fit in a couple of good workouts. I headed back to the gym this morning for a weights circuit and a spin class. I love doing circuits for my weights. They really provide a challenge but are quick too.

Assisted Pull-Ups 8 reps
Speed Skaters 15 reps
Underhand Barbell Row 10 reps
Burpees 10 reps
Dumbbell Hammer Curl 10 reps

Lookin’ Good

4all outfit

I received another outfit from 4all by jofit to try out and share with all of you. I wore the wide strappy tank from their New Orleans collection for my run yesterday. Pretty snazzy, huh? And super comfortable too.

Good TV

Last night we watched the season finale of Parenthood. That really is such a good show. If you don’t watch it, you should! It’s my second favorite, only coming after Glee.

Good Night’s Sleep

b and mommy

This cutie pie has certainly been a friend of mine lately. Looks like sleeping through the night for 12 hours is here to stay!

Good Friday

Good Firday4

Yes, I’m so thrilled it is Friday and we have a fun weekend ahead. More importantly? I’m thrilled to have a God who loves me SO incredibly much that He died for us to bring us back to Him on this day. Nothing can make for a better Friday than that. Such all encompassing love. So, please. Make today a good day – you have already received more than you could possibly hope for in today’s blessing. Happy Good Friday! And I hope all who celebrate have a wonderful Easter holiday. 🙂

  1. what a great post! you look awesome in your new outfit and your little one is adorable as always 🙂

A lot has been good to me lately, especially the blogging community and my readers. Of course my family and husband are forever wonderful to me as well.

Skyping with my family and having easter dinner out with a dear friend and her husband are on the agenda for me 🙂

    have a wonderful easter! 🙂

  2. Baby B gets me every time! What a a little darling.

I’m spending Easter at my new church! I’ve been so excited all week and pumped for the sermon. I cannot believe I went all 5 years without going and I’m really motivated to get involved.

Also, I’m making peeps rice krispie treats 🙂

  3. Baby B’s cute little nose!

  4. Lauren says:

That outfit is the most stylish running outfit I’ve ever seen! My Easter plans are going home on Sunday for easter dinner with my whole family & setting up an egg hunt in my backyard for the little cousins.

    • Tina says:

You would think with as stylish as it is it wouldn’t be very functional…but it was! So comfortable and great at wicking sweat too.

  5. Lisa says:

We love Parenthood too! It’s such a good show. And we’ll pause it like 10 times to discuss parenting issues. It’s so funny.

  6. Anna says:

I am loving how everything is growing and becoming colorful again!

My Easter plans involve going with my brother’s family to a Good Friday service today and then celebrating Sunday at their church and then a wonderful meal.

  7. I like Parenthood, but I stopped watching it. I am so bad with keeping up with tv shows. I like your outfit from 4all from joyfit. I got the skort I won two days ago and it is a crazy purple color. I will definitely be noticed wearing that on my walks. Enjoy your weekend Tina!

  8. What a cute running outfit & I must say you are looking fabulous! We have family dinners and hopefully some down time planned for this weekend. I get 4 days off, so I am pretty lucky! If you’re looking for a great treat to take to an Easter dinner, check out the oreo truffles I made yesterday — they are amazing 🙂 http://vegvacious.blogspot.com/2011/04/oreo-truffle-balls.html

    • Tina says:

Oreo truffles are only my MOST favorite dessert EVER! I wanted to make them, but Peter requested the triple layer cookie & cream bars I made two weeks ago for our potluck. He didn’t get any so he wants them for Easter. I am always all over Oreo goods obviously. 😉

  9. LOVE the run outfit! And we are hanging with friends and celebrating this Sunday-what a day to rejoice!

  10. Jess says:

LOVE that workout outfit, SO CUTE! And you look super-fit in it, I must say. 🙂 What is good for me lately? Well, I just came back from a run where I enjoyed the fresh air much more than the run itself…and had an amazing Core Fusion class last night with Fred DeVito which left me inspired all over again. So good for me is good workouts, good fresh air, good life right about now. Happy (good) Friday friend!

  11. Cynthia says:

I absolutely LOVE Parenthood. . . and Glee! I haven’t been able to watch either one this week because my husband has been out of town and we always watch those shows together. Now that’s love! 🙂

    • Tina says:

It most certainly is. I’ve had to wait to watch shows with Peter before too and I always get so antsy for them. I also HATE when I catch a spoiler somewhere.

  12. Heather says:

cute outfit! We are heading to my parents house after a service we are doing tomorrow with church!

  13. Karen says:

I’m so glad B is sleeping through the night! I’m sure that makes your days a lot better.

  14. Kacy says:

Love the outfit and so glad your back feels better!
I’m going to spend time with family. I’m in charge of the salad, haha. It’s going to be so much work 😉

  15. lindsay says:

have a great GOOD FRIDAY! I love parenthood too. Such a classic quality show.
I love a good run! I bet you could agree.

  16. Ela says:

You’re looking fantastic and that outfit is gorgeous.

    12 hours/night is great news.

I’m baking all kinds of things, more than usual recently. Both for me and for my peeps.
    Happy Easter!

  17. I love breakfast for dinner! I could probably eat breakfast around the clock. 😉

love love love parenthood and sososo sad it was the season finale!! we have to wait until what? oct for more?

WOW!!! 12 hours a night??? NICE!!

  18. Great news that your back is feeling better! 🙂

We’ll be hosting Easter this year so I’ll be busy cooking it up this weekend!

Happy Easter to you and your family & God Bless!!

  19. I LOVE the pic of you and Baby B! So cute!! 🙂
    Happy Easter, Tina!

  20. It’s SUPER snazzy – you are so cute. Love the pic of you and baybay – your face is priceless. 🙂

Happy Easter weekend! We’re hosting this year so i’m making 2 lasagnas, a couple of apps, and a big salad. My mom and sis are bring desserts and bread – woo!

  21. Cute running outfit!

I love Parenthood — it is hilarious and so serious at the same time. I don’t watch it every week, but I love catching up on it every once in a while.

For Easter I’m making smores with Peeps instead of marshmallows — I saw the idea on J3nn.net. They are adorable!

  22. jobo says:

beautiful picture with B! I love the moment it captured! And LOVE the new cute workout outfit! totally jealous. I want a short for running and for it to be warm enough TO run outside here!

  23. Baby B is so adorable, I love that picture!
You make some pretty babies Tina. 🙂

  24. Helen says:

    The outfit is very cute!

We have plans all weekend for Easter. Tomorrow is an egg hunt at church, we are taking confetti cupcakes. Sunday will be spent at my parent’s house with wonderful food and egg hunt for the kiddos 🙂

  25. Kristen says:

Have a fantastic Easter Tina! I am loving your new 4all outfit! Too cute, and you seriously look GREAT in it! Maybe you should think about going into fitness modeling! ;o)

  26. Lee says:

Parenthood is definitely my favorite show on tv right now.

  27. What a super cute running outfit! I have no plans for Easter, we were suppose to have a BBQ but my brother has to work. 🙁 Have a fantastic weekend 😀

  28. Morgan says:

You’re way braver than me. I won’t write out how well Aaron is sleeping lately because I’m afraid to jinx it! Let’s just say I’m well rested 🙂

  29. Robyn says:

What is good to you lately?

My husband. He has been very strong by me through some emotional roller coasters lately.

Any Easter plans? What are you up to? And what are you baking/cooking?

We are calving and dealing with bad weather (rained all day and turned to snow an hour ago). We will be staying close to home; tending the livestock. I am thinking about ham and scalloped potatoes for Easter dinner.

Hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter weekend!

  30. cute outfit!! You look great!

My parents are coming for a visit and we’ll be going to church with Andy and his family on Sunday and having lunch after. I love family get togethers 🙂

    Have a great Easter weekend!

  31. You are SERIOUSLY rocking the new outfit. Go you! My very sweet mother insisted on paying for my husband and I to go to a brunch (well, 3pm) on Easter since no family will be around, and “It will be one of the last times [I] have to dress up and go out before the baby’s born.”

  32. That is the CUTEST picture of you and Baby B as of yet! Lookin good mama!!!

  33. I had a good swim today and the love in my life is good!

  34. Allie says:

GREAT post, Miss Tina!!! So happy to see God in this blog <3 Happy Good Friday to you and I love the outfit and the picture of Baby B <333

  35. I’ve yet to think of what I’ll be whipping up for Easter brunch on Sunday, but I have a feeling it’ll involve sugar. 😉

    • Tina says:

Well it must involve sugar. Pretty sure Jesus ate something sweet when he rose again to heaven so it only makes sense to eat lots of sugar. Right? 😉

  36. This has been a very reflective Holy Week for me and I am looking forward to the Easter celebration on Sunday. After church we are going out to brunch. No baking or cooking for me. 🙂 It’s nice to have the weekend off once in a while.

  37. Love that top AND that picture of you and B!!!

  38. Glee and Parenthood are my exact 2 favorite shows as well!

I think I cry at least once during every episode of parenthood. I wish the season wasn’t over 🙁

mmm. breakfast for dinner is great!

  39. Your running outfit is so cute! I love getting new running clothes- it’s so motivating!

  40. The candid picture of you and Baby B is heartwarming! So much love in your expression!

I hope you have a beautiful Easter, Tina!

  41. you’re lookin’ grrrreattt Tina!! And yes what a beautiful day! HAPPY FRIDAY TO YOU TOO! So ironic that we’d call it Good Friday, as it is the day of Jesus’ death–but He sees it as a good thing b/c now He’s opened the way to a relationship with Him…amazing…

    • Tina says:

We watched Passion of the Christ last night and oh my goodness. Knowing he went through ALL that and still deep down knew the good in it is mind boggling. What a great man – what a great God!
