A Special Appearance By…

Hi! Do you know who I am? I sure hope so because I think I’m something special.

My mommy told me that some of her friends wanted to hear about the things I eat. Then I heard you all play some weird What I Ate Wednesday game.

Peas and Crayons

I like games. I like food. I like being like Mommy.

I guess I can play along and tell you what I eat. It was a yummy day. Smile

For breakfast, I always have to have my favorite meal. Unless Daddy makes pancakes. Then, I want pancakes. But on a normal day I want a bowl of oatmeal, half a banana, and a cup of milk. It’s my favorite!

Mommy will even put some pumpkin in my oatmeal so I can be just like her.

After breakfast I either go to school or stay at home to torture play with my little brother. I like to pretend I’m his mommy, which is tiring. I get hungry for a snack.

Yesterday I was at home. At school I get goldfish or pretzels or other things for snack. I like it a lot, but I like my snacks from Mommy too.

Yesterday, I wanted a bar just like mommy. My mommy’s friend, Chelsey , gave her two sunbutter bars. We each had one. I like Chelsey. She gave me green Halloween socks. Mommy & I both ate our bars and agreed we liked them. Although I don’t think it tasted like the sun??? It wasn’t hot! Confused smile

After a couple more hours, I wanted my lunch. I was sooooo excited for lunch! Mommy told me we had leftover crushed tomatoes, so that meant we could have pizza for lunch! Yipee! I like pizza. I like pizza a lot. Almost as much as I like cake!

I had some apple slices with my pizza. It was the best. It gave me a nice and full belly so I could sleep nicely. I decided to help Mommy out and take a three hour nap. She says she gets work done during my naps. I think she just plays with my toys. Or naps too. I like to make mommy very tired.

When I wake up, I’m hungry again. Oh, goody! Mommy is making some green smoothies. I love love love green smoothies.

They are the perfect snack! Or yogurt. I like yogurt for snack too. Maybe I will have both! No. Mommy says I can’t spoil my dinner. She knows me too well.

By dinner I try to tell Mommy I don’t like vegetables. She says I had vegetables already in my smoothie. Hold up! WHAT?!

Okay. I guess vegetables can be yummy. I always eat what Mommy makes for dinner. She won’t make me a special dinner, unless it’s the weekend. If Mommy or Daddy get Subway or make a pizza for them, then I get macaroni and cheese! The bunny kind is the best! If only they made a DUCK kind. In love

I’m kind of obsessed with ducks. All I want for my birthday is a purple light-up bouncy one I found at the store. I told Mommy to be happy it’s a $2 present.

What was I talking about again? Oh, dinner! This blogging thing is hard. For dinner I had a beef sandwich like mommy and some green beans. Not as good as macaroni and cheese but it will do.

I hope you liked reading what I eat. Now, I must go back to being a princess. Princess

  • Oh, wait. Mommy says I need to ask a question. Sooooo…what was YOUR favorite thing to eat as a kid? And tell me if you know where to find duck shaped macaroni and cheese!

And what a lucky thing to eat such nice food!
I miss having my dinners made by my mummy 😛

  9. Wow! She is SUCH a good eater. I’m so impressed she likes green smoothies. I suppose having a healthy mommy is the trick, right?

I also want to mention that this post was a pleasure to read, and not just because of the adorable pictures. Your narration is great and you have a great child’s voice. Maybe you can write children’s books that teach healthy habits and body image? You seem like you’re doing a great job with your own little ones; consider sharing with other parents!
