Posted: June 13, 2010 at 6:00 pm

Hello my fabulous readers! I am likely on my way home from Indiana right now. I hope you have liked the guest posts that I put together with the help of so many wonderful ladies. Below is a great Q & A post from Paige. I love reading Paige’s blog (Running Around Normal) and I’m sure you will love reading her answers. Give her a visit!

1. Give a brief description of your blog.

Promoting healthy living, being yourself, and following your dreams!

2. What does blogging do for you? Why do you enjoy it?

I love it for many reasons. It gives me a creative outlet, it has allowed me to "meet" tons of wonderful, talented, awesome people. It's helped me build my confidence and have a bigger sense of support, and it's broadened my horizons.

3. What is your favorite food? Nutritional value does not matter, so choose anything!

It's very hard for me to choose one food as a favorite, but if I HAD to, it'd probably be sweet potatoes OR chocolate. I can have a tie, right? 🙂

4. What is your favorite type of workout? Why do you love it?

Running. Running allows me to be completely honest and zen with myself. It's also an awesome gauge of progress. It's super cool that my running ability (speed, endurance, etc) is much better than it was last year at this time.

5. What is a current goal you are working towards?

For fitness? Increasing my speed. I did the endurance thing with the half marathon last month, but this month it's all about speed. A personal goal I'm working toward is becoming more in touch with my spiritual side.

6. What is something important that you have overcome, are working towards overcoming, or hope to overcome one day?

To not let other people or outside forces influence my actions. I used to let what other people said about me really affect me. I've really learned in the past year or so to pay no attention to the naysayers, because what they say is typically out of a place of ignorance.

7. What is your favorite inspirational quote?

"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that I have decided to look past the imperfections."

8. What are some things on your "Bucket List"?

Run a marathon, open and run a successful health club, write a book or two, get my masters, raise a family.

9. What is something you know now that you wish you knew 5-10 years ago?

That what other people think of me doesn't matter nearly as much as what I think of myself.

10. Name one crazy, random fact about you.

Hmm..I can't think of something appropriate! I played college volleyball? Not that crazy...

11. If you won the lottery, what would be your first big purchase?

Lululemon haul!!! Hahah, just kidding. Kind of 😉

12. List 5 of your favorite things.

things? my Garmin, my iPhone, coffee, my water bottle, chapstick

Question from Tina…what are some of your favorite things?
