Snow = No

Posted: February 13, 2010 at 5:54 pm

Well, this morning I was SUPPOSED to leave around 10 to make the drive to meet my pal Lindsey for lunch around 12. That was quickly halted when my little Corrolla wouldn't even make it out of our driveway due to the ice. So actually getting snow in Georgia = not getting out for lunch. Now, it's all melting fast but the place we were looking at going closes at 2:00. We made plans to meet this upcoming Friday for lunch instead. She is a really cool gal, some of you are already aware of that since she had a blog before, and I am bummed we didn't get to catch up today.

So far this morning, I have made a big dent in my book I am reading and snuggled up with Peter. Since the roads are clearing now we will be heading out to his parents' house in awhile to visit everyone for our niece's and my father in law's birthdays. That is all that will be going on today it looks like.

In other news, Makenzie is acting better. I'm hoping the expectorant medicine we FINALLY got is working some magic. My baby girl needed it. And I had to include some cute snow pictures 🙂
