Say It To My Face

After yesterday’s posts about blogging content (part one and part two), I suddenly felt like I had been sucker-punched with a thought that crossed my mind.

I always say how important I value your thoughts and opinions. I always say that I want FFF to be a positive reading experience. I always say I want to build a community here to support one another, share discussion, and have some fun.

I had debated doing this, but I need to put my money where my mouth is and give you a true chance to share your feedback openly. I am open to constructive criticism. How often I post? How much I discuss certain topics? How I write? How my site works? I have methods I enjoy in my blogging, but I’m not set in my ways either.

As long as I'm blogging, sharing the things that matter to me, and building relationships, I will be happy. I can better myself as a blogger by accepting feedback on some of the details related to those overall things which fulfill me.

I will always stay true to myself – my interests and my values- but I also respect and value your opinions. I want to hear them. I’m giving you a chance to “say it to my face” so to speak.

So instead of a standard post, I ask you to please take a few very short minutes to fill out this 3 question survey. And for those of you sick of the blogging talk, I assure you this is the last of it for awhile. Thank you for your patience!!!

Friday Fun

I don’t know about you, but Friday calls for some fun. I have a post I am itching to write…but I’m going to sit on it for a bit and save it for Monday. I don’t mean to keep you on your toes, but do you really want to think much on a Friday night? I didn’t think so. And I’m right there with you. Like I said, Friday calls for some fun.

What do I find fun and amusing? Well, a lot of things – like reality TV, reading blogs, and eating frosting. I think you can handle those on your own, though. I also find my kids quite fun and amusing. I’m thinking you don’t have as easy access to their antics..or at least I hope not, you creeper. Winking smile

Tonight, I’m going to let them entertain you. I’ve got two videos to share of their cute, adorable ways. Or at least I think so. You can at least pretend to agree with me. After all, telling a mom her kids aren’t cute could perhaps be the biggest faux pas known to man. So watch and love on the little goobers I love so much…and their peekaboo-playing-peanut-butter-finger-eating ways.

Makenzie Loves Peanut Butter Fingers

The other afternoon Makenzie nabbed a jar of peanut butter off the counter. She opened it and started eating peanut butter straight from the jar. I had to capture video for a special friend who I know loves Makenzie almost as much as she loves her own peanut butter fingers.

Braedon & Makenzie Play Peek-A-Boo

If only they could get along that nicely all the time. In a dream world! At least they give it to me on a Friday. Have a good night!
