ABC’s of Me

Posted: December 17, 2010 at 3:43 pm

Don’t ask what got into me. I just had the sudden urge to do this little “game”. The ABC’s of me – one word for each letter that I would choose to describe myself.

A is for Athletic.

B is for Balanced Blogger. Oh! Double points!

C is for Culinary. …… hahahahahahaha!!!!!! Yeah, right.

D is for Determined.

E is for Everythingtarian (a la Holly)

F is for Fit.

weights

G is for Genuine.

H is for Hopeful.

I is for Insightful.

J is for Jesus Freak. I just think that’s a funny term. But, don’t worry. My car does not look like this…

K is for Klutzy. Ain’t that the truth?

L is for Listener. Although I can talk your ear off too.

M is for Mother.

N is for Nice.

O is for Optimistic.

P is for Pregnant…or Phat.

Q is for Quirky.

R is for Rare. There is only one me and that is pretty awesome.

S is for Sweet-tooth. The most gigantic sweet-tooth ever!

T is for Teacher.

U is for Understanding.

V is for Veracious. Veracious means bluntly honest. You betcha. Especially on things like pregnancy, fitness, and my emotions.

W is for Whooty. That would be “white girl with a booty” and a term of endearment between my sister & I.

X is for Xcited for the weekend. I had to do the lame way. I’m not a xylophone after all.

Y is for Young. I’m the young one in our group of friends…one of the only ones under 30. Boo yah!

Z is for Zealous. I’m full of zealous passion for my hopes and dreams.

What words would you use to describe yourself? And I would still love for you to weigh-in on the discussions earlier about binge eating, relationships, and fat talk with friends.

  4. lindsay says:

oh my gosh, can I steal the WHOOTY phrase?! Thats too funny. And yes, you are culinary! In your own creative way.
    Cheers,
    L

  5. I love your ABC’s…such a fun post!

Hope you are having a low key weekend…I know being preg, the holidays, Peter’s bday wrappign up, you’ve gotta be…beat! 🙂

    • Tina says:

Actually this weekend is insanely busy. We have a holiday party tom at 10 am with the mom’s group, going to a lights show with friends tom night, and then visiting the holiday festivities we tried to go to last weekend (and already bought tickets for) on Sun night. I’m excited though!

  6. um, i’m totally stealing wooty from you…that word is going to be trouble!

  7. Jess says:

Haha, love this! I think you’re definitely going into nesting/mom mode if this concept popped into your head for a blog post. Love it! 🙂

  8. Super cute post! I vote for PHAT. Doesn’t that mean “pretty, hot and tempting?” Chris Tucker said so. Love that pic of you and your sister. Sisters are wonderful!

  9. I literally have something similar with the ABCs written down in my little “topics to blog about binder.” Love your list!!!

  10. Ela says:

Whooty is an awesome one! I’ll have to remember that.

Hope you’re resting well and having a smileful day.
    love
    Ela

  11. I’d be Kind for “K” and Goofy for “G”!

Fun post! Have a nice weekend!

  12. Katie says:

Love this post! Was it hard to think of them?

I am intelligent, romantical (I say this is a word), active, and kind.

  13. Tatianna says:

    This was adorable 😛
I would use the word ‘passionate’ to describe myself, because it covers everything. I am passionate about my writing, art, relationships.. everything!

    • Tina says:

Passionate is the one main word I use to describe myself too. And I cracked up at your last comment about that quote being epic. I do like to think that way though.

  14. Fun!

If I just had to do A-C, I’d probably say I’m “Athletic” (just cuz!), “Bootyfull” (according to some… I’m ample for an Asian… don’t know how to turn that into a term like *whooty* though), and “Cute” (I get that a lot).

  15. I’m a whooty too–I love that term and I want to start using it! That pic of you and your sis is too cute btw. Funny and sassy come to mind when I think of myself, hopefully to others as well~

  16. Emily says:

great post! you are very balanced in your descriptors 🙂 hope your weekend meets xpectations!

  17. Sarah says:

I’m loving “wooty.” I think that would desribe me, too:-).
I’d also say I’m an explorer.
And Tina? Thank you for your encouraging response to my last post. I am truly inspired by you, and it’s nice to think that maybe I can be an ex-binger..if I take it one day at a time.
