A Christmas Miracle
Posted: December 17, 2010 at 10:33 pmA day full of miracles occurred in these parts today.
I slept in again. Which I believe, coupled with my day of rest yesterday, helped me to wake up feeling 100% better! No more sickies! A Christmas miracle.
I managed to shower and get dressed in something besides yoga pants and old sweatshirts. Before 8 am. A Christmas miracle.
I also truly, honestly, 100% felt beautiful this morning and loved my pregnant belly. I appreciate my body growing a baby, but sometimes its hard seeing such changes. I fully embraced those changes and reveled in my body today. A Christmas miracle.
Perhaps that sparked my post from this afternoon? Yet another Christmas miracle – I posted 3 times today. Did you catch my ABC’s post?
This morning I had to run out to the store to get some things for baking I have to do this afternoon. It was 40 degrees. That felt warm after the last week. A Christmas miracle for 40 degrees to feel like 70.
After shopping, I enjoyed a delicious lunch. It included pomegranate Chobani. I have never been able to find that flavor. It has now trumped Pineapple as my favorite. A (delicious) Christmas miracle.
Tonight, I baked up Teri’s Pumpkin Gingerbread for a holiday brunch party tomorrow. It’s a Christmas miracle I have refrained from cutting into them right away.
No matter what, though, I will not forget the true Christmas miracle.
That little baby saved my life. Thank goodness such miracles exist.

Look at you!! Gorgeous 🙂 So glad you are feeling better today… sleeping in those few extra hours can work wonders.
Glad you had a great day! Pomegranate Chobani is my absolute favorite too, or I like adding pom seeds to plain Greek yogurt.
Loved this post Tina. I am so glad you are feeling better inside and out!
Beautiful! You look radiant 🙂
Tina, you look amazing! So glad you are feeling beautiful 🙂
I just got pomegranate chobani from the store on my school’s campus- so surprised they had it! Can’t wait to try it!
I’m going to have withdrawals if I can’t find it at our local Kroger or Publix again. I never see that flavor. I don’t know why. It’s delicious!
I love this post (especially the end).
And I truly have to say, you really do glow! And I can’t wait until baby B’s arrival! 🙂
Aww, I love this! Isn’t it fabulous when everything falls into place? I love being reminded that there is a higher power guiding me. That sounds corny, but that’s always the way I feel when I have good days like that!
I totally get what you are saying. I actually felt the same, that God was just watching out for me yesterday.
Yay for not forgetting the real Christmas miracle 🙂 SO awesome! I love your baby bump picture! 🙂 Good job on waking up and being ready, your a trooper!
You look so cute! Glad you are feeling better today and I agree about 40 degrees feeling so warm.
Amen! This is a beautiful post.
Tina, you are adorable. Can I say how much reading your blog through your pregnancy has sort of helped me understand a little more what goes on, so I know what to expect and how to help along my friend Jaime? THANK YOU! 🙂
I’m glad its helping you to show the real side to your friend. I wish I had some of that realistic side shared with me before M.
You are a stunner 🙂
Too many words to describe how much of a beautiful person you are, inside & out.
<3
You look amazing! And even better that you FEEL amazing!
So glad you made the bread…I have to restrain myself from making it too often because I can down a whole loaf in one day. Kidding. OK, not kidding. At all.
your pregnant belly is so beautiful…and i’m so glad you saw that today!
