FFF Features
Posted: February 19, 2011 at 1:49 pmTime for another week’s FFF Features! And thank you once again for all the support the past couple of days. I hope you all have fabulous weekends! 🙂
Featured Move: Step It Up
I completed quite a few repetitions of one of my all-time favorite leg moves this week. It hurt so good! Plus, there are so many variations of them. I share three.
Featured Moment:
I had a few I could share this past week – FFF getting a new look, seeing some good progress in this month’s progress pictures, and receiving a special message at JUST the right time. The winner though? Our fun game night together as a family. Moments like that matter so much. Especially considering this week’s news.
Featured Meal:
Almost Meatless Sloppy Joes. A winner every time I make them. Katie, I am forever indebted to you for sharing this easy, delicious, family-friendly recipe!
Featured Quote:

Featured Cuteness:
Makenzie checking herself out in the mirror. She finds mirrors so entertaining. I love how she acts when she gets “caught”.
Featured Reading: Karen @ Waisting Time – Objects Are Smaller Than They Appear
Karen wrote an interesting post about diminishing returns and things we crave not really satisfying or turning out how we expect. Something to which I’m sure we can all relate.
Question of the day – What are you up to this weekend? And what was a feature of your past week?

We are cleaning! The windows are open and there will be a walk to the park in a little bit! I love this weather. I hope you get to enjoy it too! Have a great weekend my friend.
Makenzie HAHAHA that video is ADORABLE!! 🙂 I hope you have an awesome weekend!!
Thanks for the shout out:) Lazy weekend here. Not much to do but watch teen’s basketball game tomorrow. He has Monday off school – gotta love a long weekend.
Makenzie is so adorable!!!
I haven’t got much on the agenda today– working on some school work and maybe a lunch date? We’ll see.
Have a great weekend!
So adorable! This past week, I had an awesome Valentine’s Day, then dinner with my parents as well. Hope you’re having a great weekend!
Hi Tina,
Just wanted to say sorry about the news of your mom and I’m saying a prayer for you all 🙂 Your game night looks like SO much fun!
My glutes are burning from just watching you do the step ups! 😉
I love this series of yours!!
A feature of my last week was Valentine’s day!
M looks so cute in her Elmo slippers!! You had a lot of great features this week, Tina. I just went to read Karen’s article – that happens to me a lot where I get disappointed with how something tastes but keep eating anyway. It really frustrates me, but I guess the first step is recognizing when I’m doing it.
Makenzie is too cute! 😀 Thanks for making me smile!
This weekend I coached my Girls on the Run girls, I went to the gym, and I’m going to be organizing my apartment, meal planning, grocery shopping, homework, and of course, blogging!
Have a wonderful weekend Tina! 😀
I want to eat your daughter, she is so cute!
This weekend I’m on vacation in Florida, so I’m loving the warm weather and palm trees. Yay palm trees!
I really look forward to your FFF Features! The cuteness, the blog you highlight…it’s all good. You are in my thoughts Tina. oh, and M is adorable as always.
LOVE the new look!!!
I am catching up on my work sample for student teaching and taking some time to relax. I have two highlights from my week. One was getting a few valentines from some of my elementary music students. The other was talking with a friend on the phone and ending our conversation on a spiritual note (bible reading, memorizing scripture, etc).
We finally had a full week of school. 🙂 I turned 38 and I got to see Rascal Flatts in concert. It was a good week for us.
The video of M checking herself out in the mirror is adorable!! What a cutie pie!!
I love that step up move – they hurt so so good!
I got in a run this morning, and I came close to running a personal best of 3 miles!!
Love the new look of the blog!! this weekend I am trying to recover from getting my exam results back – kind of disappointed but also kind of excited that life is finally going to go MY way soon!
A chocolaty hug for you for this week’s news!
I love veggie sloppy joes! I made Mama Pea’s Sloppy Josephine’s last week:

So good!
What am I up to this weekend? Breathing down hubs neck to finish my light box. 😀
Awwwww, Makenzie is so cute!! 🙂
I babysat last night, then worked today. Now I’m hanging out and relaxing. Tomorrow I’m getting up early and helping at church. Then tomorrow afternoon my mom and I are SUPPOSED to leave town for the night and Monday (college visit), but that depends on snow… :\
This weekend we are taking care of livestock. The first calf hfrs started calving and we are getting ready for a snow storm to hit tonight.
I like the weekly features idea. It is a nice way to reflect on the week.
Oh my goodness… that video of your daughter is too funny.. and ADORABLE!!!!!
My 5 month old son learned to roll over!
M in the mirror is definitely the cutest thing I’ve seen all day!
Love your weekly features. =)
Those step ups are killers but ohhh so good!
Love the featured moves, especially that last slow one! I can/can’t wait to try it out! 😉
M is too cute! I love her little Elmo Slippers! My little sister had a fascination with any and all things Elmo when she was little, but she always pronounced it “Mee-mo” It’s funny, after all these years, I still have to stop myself from saying Mee-mo!
LOVE the new blog look!!! So bloggy jealous 😉 And that is one of my FAVE leg workouts!!! I LOVE leg work. DOMS PLEASE 🙂
Love this post and the laughter you share.
Weekend here features snow, very low tides and some amazing wildlife sightings (just trying to get the pics up on my blog right now).
Sending love to you and your mom.
Ela
So glad you’re still loving those sloppy joes! We have them every few weeks. Delish! 🙂
